www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Ukraine has reportedly lost 227,000 mobile subscribers in the month of June taking the total base to 54.8 million. Mobile penetration dropped to 119.1% from 119.5% at the end of May.
Kyivstar, country’s leading mobile operator, posted a subscriber base of 22.224 million in June down from 22.729 million in May, losing 505,000 subscribers.
MTS, the Russian subsidiary, added 50,000 new mobile subscribers in June taking its subscriber base from 17.731 million in May to 17.781 million in June.
Astelit reported a subscriber base of 11.679 million up from 11.570 million, adding 127,000 new subscribers. URS added 41,000 subscribers in June taking it subscriber base to 1.934 million up from 1.893 million.
