KazakhTelecom posts net income of USD100 million (Kazakhstan)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: KazakhTelecom has posted net income of KZT15.1 billion (USD100 million) for the six month period ended 30 June 2009, a 16.6% year-on-year drop, according to a media report. The reason for the decline has not been revealed yet. As earlier reported, the telco is presently mulling bids for its 51% stake in mobile operator Mobile Telecom Service.  Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems and South Korea’s SK Telecom have been linked with the telco.
