Warid Telecom posts a subscriber base of 2.5Mn in two years of operation (Bangladesh)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Warid Telecom had reportedly taken its subscriber base to 2.5 million subscribers in two years of its operations. The operator has so far made an investment of $600 million so far.
“Our current base station count stands at around 1,750 which are deployed all over Bangladesh. Our investment made so far is around $600 million. Warid has paid over 6.5 billion taka as direct and indirect taxes to the national exchequer,” Warid Telecom’s chief executive Muneer Farooqui said.
