Wana selects Huawei to offer 2G/3G wireless access network (Morocco, China)
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Huawei Technologies has been selected as the sole supplier of Moroccan operator Wana’s new GSM/UMTS mobile network. The financial details have not been disclosed yet. The vendor is exclusively contracted to provide a 2G/3G wireless access network, core network and value added services (VAS) network, and phase one of the project will involve deployment of 1,500 base transceiver stations (BTS) by December 2009.
