HTC Lancaster to face delay in launch, unable to pass AT&T validation

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: The launch of HTC Lancaster, the first custom-made Android handset for AT&T, which was earlier planned in Q3’09 will now either be delayed or cancelled as the the handset is unable to pass AT&T validation, an industry resource unveils.
The delay in the launch of HTC handset will not only affect HTC’s revenues for the H2’09 but also force HTC to adjust its policy on the deployment of Android platform.
HTC will further experience an intense competition, as other handset manufacturers pur in 15-20 Android based handset in H2’09.
