Movistar Ecuador increases annual investment budget by 30%

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Movistar Ecuador reportedly intends to raise its earlier announced investment forecast for 2009 by 30% to around USD130 million. The operator plans to invest nearly USD400 million in the medium term for network expansion and upgradation including rolling out 3G infrastructure and applications and migrating the remainder of its CDMA user base to GSM.
