Bharti Airtel’s revenue growth to remain under pressure (India)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: According to Bharti Airtel, the revenue growth of the company will remain under pressure for the next two quarters. Besides, the new players in the market will also have to struggle to attract funds.

However, the net profit of the firm rose by 34.47% for the first quarter that ended in September 2009, thus, increasing from Rs 17,146.60 million in the same quarter previous year to 23,056.80 million.

The total income for the quarter rose 16.09% to Rs 103,930.60 million while the consolidated net sales for the quarter rose 16.04% to Rs 103,551.60 million. The shares of Bharti Airtel traded at Rs 316.60 gaining Rs 6.75, or 2.18%.
