Call Charges to and from Haiti waived by T-Mobile

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: In its bid to lend a helping out to the victims of earthquake in Haiti, T-Mobile USA had allowed its current customers to make phone calls to Haiti free of charge from January 12, 2010, until January 31, 2010. The customers will also be able to roam free-of charge while in Haiti.

according to the President and CEO of T-Mobile USA, Robert Dottson, T-Mobile and its employees care deeply for their customers and they know that many customers have been directly impacted by the disaster in Haiti.

Apart from this, the company has also decided to help its partner networks Voila and Digicel, to restore their wireless communications infrastructure damaged in the earthquake. Wireless equipment such as generator equipment and cellsites will also be donated by the telco.
