BSNL’s 3G service launched in Mangalore (India)
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Continuing 3G launching spree across the country, BSNL has launched its 3G services in the coastal town of Mangalore. The services have already been launched in Kerala, Bangalore and some cities of Andhra Pradesh not long ago and after that in a few cities of Andhra Pradesh.
BSNL has planned the expansion of its services in across 32 towns in Karnataka and in the next two months, it has planned to make all district headquarters in the state, 3G enabled.
Increase in the number of towers has also been planned by BSNL to support its 3G services which might increase the number of towers from 3,000 to 6,000 soon.
