SFR to launch quad-play service on 25 April
Telecompaper writes…French mobile operator SFR has announced two new ‘Happy Zone’ services which allow customers to make unlimited phone calls to French fixed-line numbers when they are at home. Both are aimed at customers with at least 2 hour per month service plans. SFR Happy Zone started on 27 March, following six-month pilots in the counties of Bouches-du-Rhone and Haute-Garonne. It costs EUR 14.90 monthly or EUR 9.90 for subscribers who have been with SFR for more than a year. SFR Happy Zone + ADSL will launch on 25 April and will expand progressively. The service uses the Neuf Cegetel fixed-line network. It includes up to 20 Mbps ADSL, TV, unlimited fixed-line VoIP to French fixed and international numbers, and also free calls from mobiles within the home to French fixed-line numbers. The service costs EUR 29.90 per month in unbundled areas and EUR 37.90 per month in areas that have not been unbundled yet.
