Additional series C funding helps ViVOtech close $24 million (US)
An additional $24 million have been raised by ViVOtech, an emerging NFC vendor, in a multi-stage extension to its Series C round of funding.
Prominent new investors Singapore’s EDBI, SingTel Innov8, and Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, which were joined in the round by ViVOtech’s current investors Alloy Ventures, Citi Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurveston, DFJ Gotham, First Data Corporation, Miven Ventures, Motorola Mobility, Nokia Growth Partners and NCR were featured in the extension.
With the help of the funds, ViVOtech is expected to push its already rapid growth and speed up expansion as it is poised to make forays into more countries beyond the 35 where Vivotech Nfc software and systems are put to use.
