Vodafone joins the WiMAX Forum(UK)

Vodafone has become a principal member of the WiMAX Forum. The WiMAX Forum is an industry-led non-profit organisation committed to promoting and certifying interoperable WiMAX products. The WiMAX Forum comprises more than 470 companies including 141 operators. Vodafone said it remains “technology neutral” as far as future network options are concerned, with joining the WiMAX Forum a way to evaluate the possibilities of the wireless technology.
