America Movil to buy MiPhone (Jamaica)Mexican wireless holding company America Movil (AM) has agreed to buy Jamaica’s smallest cellco Oceanic Digital Jamaica, which operates under the MiPhone brand. AM is reported to have agreed to pay over USD70 million for the Jamaican company. The deal expected to be finalised in the fourth quarter.
