 Arcor plans to invest billions of euros in own VDSL network (Germany)

Vodafone’s German fixed network operator Arcor plans to invest billions of euros in deploying its own VDSL network covering the most of Germany, according to CEO Harald Stoeber during the presentation of Arcor’s financial results. Arcor is currently negotiating with Deutsche Telekom about getting access to the street cabinets to deploy its own cables and Stoeber expects an agreement to be reached soon.
