Orascom Telecom buys back another 243,000 GDRs (Egypt)Orascom Telecom, Egypt, plans to buy back 243,000 GDRs of it’s own. According to the company statement, the GDRs equal to 1.2 million local shares. The company had purchased 587,530 GDRs last month as well, and intends to buy back up to 8.9 million GDR shares over the period of one year. The full buy back will be equivalent to company’s 5% stake.
