ZTE and Huawei Technologies win Libyana’s network expansion contract (Libya)

The two equipment manufacturers ZTE and Huawei Technologies won the contracts for network expansion of Libyana. A USD58 million deal will see the two vendors expanding the capacity of the existing network to 6.5 million lines.

   

Libyana launches mobile TV trial (Libya)

Libya’s largest cellular operator, Libyana, has begun a trial of DVB-H mobile TV technology in Tripoli. State-owned Libyana, which has 4.2 million subscribers, is working with French solutions provider Enensys on the trial.
