The Kosovan government decides to privatise PTK for an estimate price of EUR700-EUR800 million. An inter-ministerial commission will, reportedly, be formed to select an international consulting firm which will suggest how to best involve the private sector.

Dardafone, the Kosovan MVNO, announces the formation of a joint venture with the present telcos, The Post and Telecommunications of Kosovo (PTK).
According to the Chief Executive Officer of PTK, Adnan Merovci, ‘Today we signed heads of agreement and thereafter further details will be incorporated, following discussions to take place in the near future’.
