 China’s PTAC buys 2 bln usd worth of mobile phones from Nokia

China PTAC Communications Services Co Ltd, the country’s largest mobile phone distributor, has signed an agreement with Nokia Corp to purchase 2 bln usd worth of mobile phones, sina.com reported, citing sources.

The report said PTAC Communications and Nokia will also co-operate in developing sales channels and promotions.

Last year, PTAC Communications purchased 2.5 bln usd worth of mobile phones from Nokia.

Zhang Yimeng, a media relations officer with Nokia said she had no information on any such deal.
