Chunghwa sets MOD target (Taiwan)Chunghwa Telecom says it expects to have 500,000 subscribers to its Multimedia On Demand (MOD) fibre network by the end of this year, with one million by end-2008. The firm currently claims around 360,000 MOD customers, who are offered a range of TV, telephony and internet services over high speed fibre connections.
