Colombia had 29.45 million mobile phone subscribers at end-September, up from 28.55 million at end-June, according to figures from the country’s trade & industry superintendence (SIC). Of the total, Comcel accounted for 19.24 million, up from 18.53 million at end-June; Movistar Colombia for 7.55 million, down from 7.61 million; and Colombia Movil-Tigo for 2.67 million, up from 2.4 million. The total base rose by 904,996 versus end-June. Movistar received 13,064 complaints about its service in Q3, down from 19,625 in Q2. Comcel had 11,968 complaints, down from 13,689, and Tigo had 9,663 complaints, up from 9,113.
