Greek mobile operator Cosmote has introduced a home zone service called Cosmote ONEphone. For EUR 5 per month, customers get 200 minutes of calls to fixed lines when using their mobile phone at home. Any calls beyond that will be billed at fixed-line rates. Before each call, the customer is told whether they are in the geographic limits of the home zone. The service is available with Cosmote postpaid plans and is available from Cosmote’s retail network. As a promotion, the company is offering the first month free. The operator is also launching the Cosmote at Home postpaid plan, which gives customers another 500 minutes of calls to fixed lines when using the mobile at home, for EUR 12.50 per month.
