DoCoMo looks down in the mouth (Japan)

NTT DoCoMo has developed a ‘fitness phone’ that checks for stinky breath.
The device also measures pulse, includes a pedometer and gives heath advice after users punch in statistics such as gender, age and weight. There’s a kind of breathalyser too that checks for alcohol and hideous smelling bacterial infections. We embroidered that last bit.

“Our primary target groups would be fat-fighting middle-aged businessmen and young women on diets,” Kentaro Endo, a spokesman for NTT DoCoMo.
