Regulatory body Sittel has revealed in a statement, quoted by BNamericas, that it has fined Entel USD3.6 million for failing to meet quality of service commitments in rural areas and not fulfilling growth plans in four different areas between 2000 and 2001. Clifford Paravicini, head of Sittel, said that Entel has 10 days to appeal the resolution.
