 Ericsson, Movistar to launch 3G (Uruguay)

Ericsson has Wednesday announced a deal with Movistar, an operator in Uruguay, for the launch of its 3G network. Movistar is part of the Telefonica group.

Under the agreement, Ericsson will be the sole supplier and network integrator for Movistar’s new WCDMA/HSPA core and radio network.
