HTC is gaining popularity because of their Touch series devices. HTC posted its third quarter earnings hits $1.2 billion in sales, up 30% though it suffers a 4.9% drop in profits due to shipment delays. This indicates that HTC is right behind Nokia and RIM in terms of the largest makers of smartphones. With the new Treo Pro and the HTC Dream/G1 in its kitty, HTC is set to lead the market.
