Motorola has sued one of it’s former executive, claiming, he disclosed trade secrets to Apple, his current employer. He learned of numerous confidential company practices, which he leaked to the benefit of Apple.

In the filing, Motorola claimed Michael Fenger - who served as the senior vice president of mobile devices for the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions for the handset maker - presently employed at Apple as the vice president of global iPhone sales - violated his agreement to not take a position with a competitor during the two years after he left Motorola in March.

While Apple, denies the claims and soared with the headline-grabbing success of its iPhone. Motorola’s own smartphone, the Q, failed to achieve the kind of success the iPhone attained.
