Mascom Wireless has launched a new GPRS/EDGE-based mobile internet service and plans to make the application accessible to users beyond its network footprint and outside Botswana via network roaming, according to the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, Dzene Makhwade-Seboni. She said that internet access is available to contract and pre-paid Mascom subscribers via laptops, desktop PCs, USB modems or GPRS/EDGE compatible phones.
