Nokia and ClimateCare collaborate to save the planetNokia will now help you save the planet and that too through your cell phone. Nokia in collaboration with ClimateCare has developed a tool, which is a carbon footprint calculator.
The Nokia Blog reads, “we:offset is useful for frequent travelers who are concerned about global warming and want to do their bit for the environment. The tool calculates the CO2 emissions caused by your travels, by either entering your destinations with airport codes, or by letting the application automatically detect location data for flight movement. It then translates the emission into the amount of money you can donate to the project and even lets you send the money directly from the phone.”
