Orange Business Services and Microsoft have announced the “Business Together with Microsoft” collaborative solution to accelerate the use of unified communications and collaborative working in companies. It is now available for multinational companies worldwide and based on Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, Exchange Server 2007, Forefront and Office SharePoint Server. A single Windows Outlook interface gives them access to mailboxes, contacts and calendar, and allows them to view voice messages as e-mails, read faxes, make VoIP calls, use instant messaging and audio, video and web conferencing. Users can take advantage of new services from any terminal equipped with a compatible web browser. The complete range of services includes consulting and audits, migration to IP, integration, managed IT infrastructure and application services and outsourcing. The combined solution leverages Orange Business Services’ experience in messaging, IP convergence and network-related services, and Microsoft’s expertise in unified communications and collaboration solutions.
