Pakistan has added 1.3 million mobile subscribers in the timespan of one month. The figure from 86.69 million in the month of May reached a new high of 88.02 million, according to the figures from market regulator PTA.The mobile teledensity rose from 53.9% in May to 54.4% in June, showing a growth of 0.5% in a month.
Mobilink became the market leader with 32.03 million subscribers alone. Next came Telenor, with a huge gap of 13.90 million, it stood at 18.13 million subscribers. Ufone acquired the third place with 18.1 million subscribers.Warid at 15.49 million was followed by 3.95 million Zong subscribers. Instaphone remained stagnant to it’s figures for the month of April i.e. 321,204 subscribers.
