Peanuts snoops around mobileMobile-ent writes….Mobile Streams has inked a deal to distribute Peanuts video content in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
The agreement with United Media includes clips from the popular animated TV series, in addition to images from the Charles Schultz cartoon strip and a mobile game.
The deal marks the first time the animated series - which popularised characters like Snoopy, Charlie Brown and Linus - has appeared on mobile.
Mobile Streams will be offering the Peanuts content to operators in GSA using its Vuesia distribution platform.
Martyn McGoun, EVP Europe at Mobile Streams, said: “Snoopy and Peanuts are household names and their huge appeal spans all age groups. I am pleased to add these characters to our cartoon catalogue and to them delighting mobile fans throughout Germany, Switzerland and Austria.�
