After witnessing subdued performance in last few months, telecom solutions provider Subex Azure jumped 4.1 per cent to close at Rs 461.25, on clinching an interconnect deal with Omantel, Oman’s telecommunications company.

Around 38,000 shares were traded on the BSE. Omantel provide fixed and mobile services to over 1.5 million customers.

Subex Azure also entered into a strategic partnership with Hitachisoft, one of Japan’s leading IT software firms, to provide revenue assurance to Japanese telecom operators.

Recently, Subex Azure completed the acquisition of Azure Solutions for about $140 million, the single largest overseas acquisition by an Indian software company.

This acquisition is a big step in augmenting Subex Azure’s strategic business focus to help telcos establish the Revenue Operations Center (ROC) through an integrated suite of solutions.

Subex Systems addresses the entire telecommunication segment with a strong client base and concentrates on the revenue maximisation space.
