Apple launches 16 GB iPhone (USA)

Apple has unveiled new iPhone and iPod touch models with increased storage space. The iPhone is now available with 16 GB for USD 499, joining the 8 GB model for USD 399, from Apple stores and US mobile operator AT&T. The bigger iPhone will be available in Germany for EUR 499 in combination with a two year T-Mobile Germany contract, next to the 8 GB version, which costs EUR 399 in combination with a similar contract. At the same time, Apple starts offering a 32 GB iPod Touch for EUR 459, complementing the iPod Touch models with 8 GB storage (EUR 279) and 16 GB (EUR 369).
