www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Vodafone, one of UK’s leading mobile operators has made its way back to the advertising foray with a new campaign for prepay.
Vodafone had cut ad expenditure by nearly 18% to £54m in 2008, as TV spend dropped by 12.7% and radio by 66% in May 2008.
But the new campaign dubbed as ‘if I ruled the world’ adverts are marketing the Vodafone’s prepay deals on television, radio, online and newspapers. The campaign was first aired during the Champions League quarter-final on 14 April.
The adverts talk about Vodafone’s prepay offer Freedom Pack. The lowest priced pack is a £10 top-up, which offers the equivalent of £50 worth of minutes and SMS.
