Verizon Wireless enters agreement with AirSage (USA)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: US mobile network operator Verizon Wireless has announced it has entered into an agreement with AirSage Inc.

Airsage is a provider of location, movement and real-time traffic information based on cellular signalling data.

Under the terms of the agreement, signalling data from use on Verizon Wireless’ network will be made anonymous and integrated into AirSage’s Wireless Signal Extraction (WiSE) Technology platform, helping the company to provide real-time traffic information.
