AT&T launches Pantech Laser and Motorola Flipout

AT&T has launched Motorola Flipout and Pantech Laser on its network. The FLIPOUT features a 2.8-inch color display screen and offers Google’s Android 2.1 operating system, speedy 3G HSDPA support for data, and MOTORBLUR services that sync messages, emails, social networking into one single stream of updates.

The device comes with a 3 megapixel camera, an FM radio, GPS, microSD memory card support, and Bluetooth. The device is worth US$79.99 after new 2 year agreement with no additional mail-in rebate requirment.

The Pantech Laser features a 3.1 inch AMOLED touch screen, sliding QWERTY keyboard, and Drawing Commander, a feature that allows for calls to be made, messages to be opened or favorite apps to be accessed by simply tracing a shape with a finger, 3.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, Bluetooth with stereo audio support and microSDHC slot.

The device is worth US$149.99 after new two-year agreement before an additional US$50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to US$99.99.

Samsung launches Samsung Jet touchscreen handset

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Samsung Electronics has launched its new touchscreen handset dubbed as Samsung Jet. The handset adorns a WVGA AMOLED touch screen, a 800MHz processor, 5 megapixel camera, built-in GPS, DNSe & SRS sound effect technology, and DivX and XviD video support.
The Samsung Jet also has the TouchWiz 2.0 user interface and supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. The device features Samsung’s Dolfin internet browser, a multi-tasking manager, FM radio and a motion recognition engine.

Samsung’s other announcements included the Omnia Pro B7320, a slab-style Windows Mobile phone with a keyboard; the Omnia Pro B7610, which has both a touch screen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and the Omnia Lite B7300, a touchscreen Windows Mobile phone.
