Alltel Wireless keeps customers connected with the launch of the LG Banter

Alltel Wireless knows that customers always want to be in touch, and with the launch of the LG Banter, connecting with friends, co-workers and family is easier than ever. Featuring a full sliding QWERTY keyboard for fast and easy texting and a chat-style messaging interface, the LG Banter is a stylish slider that is the perfect handset for anyone on the go.

To ensure customers never miss an important message, the LG Banter is preloaded with Alltel Email, Yahoo! IM and AOL IM. The handset also comes with changeable faceplates, allowing customers to express themselves with blue or silver color plates. In addition, the LG Banter offers a 1.3MP camera, an integrated MP3 player, Bluetooth Wireless Technology, applications including solitaire and Alltel Navigation preloaded, and a MicroSD expandable memory slot.

“Alltel is continuing to provide its customers with phones that meet today’s demand for rapid communication whether text or voice, and the LG Banter delivers it all in an amazing package,” said Angela Rittgers, director of product marketing for Alltel Wireless. “Whether at home or on the road, the LG Banter will allow customers to be connected and stay in touch.”

Alltel Wireless is offering the LG Banter for $19.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate at Alltel retail stores and online at shopalltel.com. This discounted price is available to new and existing eligible customers who sign-up for a two-year service agreement on a qualifying rate plans. Customers purchasing the LG Banter may also receive the Alltel Hue II by Samsung or an additional LG Banter for free with activation of a second two-year agreement on a qualifying rate plan, while supplies last.

Alltel Wireless continues to be an industry-leader, providing choice and flexibility with its exclusive “My Circle” feature, giving Customers unlimited, free calling to and from any five, 10 or 20 numbers on any network. Alltel Wireless was also the first to offer Anytime Plan Changes, giving Customers the flexibility to change their calling plans at any time, without extending their contract.
