The manager of Mobis Elektronika, Nebojsa Biskup, reportedly said that the Nokia dealership registered a 50% drop in sales during the first quarter in comparison to the same period in 2008, although the situation improved in the second quarter, when the decrease was only 40%. He pointed out that the number of Bosnians who use mobile phones is less than 60% of the population, which shows that the drop was caused by the economic recession, rather than market saturation. He estimated that sales could stabilize by the end of this year.
