Chua Sock Koong appointed to SingTel’s board

SINGAPORE: Chua Sock Koong has been named deputy group chief executive with immediate effect – a stepping stone before taking over from Lee Hsien Yang as CEO next April.

She has also been appointed to its board of directors

With her new appointment, Ms Chua will be relinquishing her current role as chief executive of SingTel’s international arm, while covering as Group Chief Financial Officer.

Lim Chuan Poh, Executive Vice President of Strategic Investments, will replace her as CEO International, responsible for SingTel’s regional associates.

He will support the growth objectives of SingTel’s business groups through strategic investments in the region. – CNA /dt
