Vivo crosses 1Mn mark of daily users for Call Me service (Brazil)
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Vivo, the Brazilian mobile operator, has reportedly crossed the 1 million mark of daily users to its Vivo call me service. The Call me service targets the prepaid subscribers using the Vivo Controle package, enabling them to send free SMS to any Vivo subscribers, even when they are out of credit. The SMS says “I need to talk to you! Call me!”, followed by the number of the sender.
Vivo also offers the collect call SMS service, only in the state of Minas Gerais for the moment. It differs from the Call me service as the recipient has to agree to receive the message in order to read it.
