The tariff dubbed as SMART pre-paid tariff offers the lowest call charges to Mobitel and any other network.
The tariff will also giove access to optional features like SMART bonus loyalty discounts and Mobitel’s latest offer, 3G delight. “This is the first time Sri Lankan mobile users can enjoy what we term as telescopic price plans, which is offered without any activation fees or monthly rentals. Telescopic price plans enable customers to enjoy amplified value for talking longer,” said CEO, Mobitel, Suren J. Amarasekara. “That together with our recent mobile network enhancements, customers will be able to enjoy superior mobile network quality and services,” he added.
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Optus, the Australian mobile operator, has published the pricing plans for the Apple iPhone 3G S. The operator is charging AUD 9.99/month separately for subscribers using the iPhone as a modem for a laptop (tethering). The operator has introduced two tariff plans, Yes Timeless and Yes Cap. The Yes Timeless AUD 99 tariff plan with the AUD 14.99 Mobile Internet Pack offers the handset for free on a 2 year plan but with a monthly instalment on the 1 year contract.
The Yes Timeless AUD 129 plan also offers the iPhone for free on a 2 year contract.
The Yes Cap plans, offers the 8 GB model is for free on the AUD 59 plan and the AUD 79 plan. The 16 and 32 GB versions are available at a handset instalment on the Cap plans.
