ClearTalk Wireless & aKos launches US-to-Latin America mobile money transfer service

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: ClearTalk Wireless, mobile service provider based in USA & aKos Technology together to launch a US-to-Latin America mobile money transfer service. This service enables ClearTalk subscribers to send funds internationally from their mobile phone to recipients who can withdraw funds in cash from merchants they frequent.

In the beginning, the service will be available to ClearTalk subscribers in its California market starting 20 April. aKos’ ‘mobile to merchant to cash’ approach does not require a financial instrument, such as a bank account, credit card, stored value card, for either the sender or the recipient. Moreover, this does not require any downloaded application on the mobile handset. aKos is in alliance with Viamericas to support the ClearTalk launch. The aKos has implemented their service on the Smartbox Mobile Services Platform to provide a service offering for ClearTalk’s subscribers.
