Tango set to launch iPad 2, inks green electricity deal (Europe)

Fixed and mobile operator Tango Luxembourg announced that it will  launch dedicated data plans with Wi-Fi and 3G access for the iPad 2 internet tablet in the next few weeks.

In a separate news, the operator has stated that it had signed a 3 year contract for competitive electric utility Electris’ SwitchBlue service, which guarantees 100 percent green energy.

SwitchBlue, which sells power generated by hydroelectric turbines, will help Tango meet its objectives of reducing its CO2 emissions by around 2,500 tones per year.
