Qtel offers Collect Call Service to Hala subscribers (Qatar)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Qtel, Qatar’s leading mobile operator, has introduced a new service dubbed as collect call service for its Hala subscribers, which allows the people to make collect calls to other mobile subscribers. The Collect Call service will offer subscribers with low or zero credit to make direct voice contact with Hala or Shahry subscribers in Qatar. A research by Qtel showed that parents wanted a Collect Call service for their children, so that they can always call home when they need to, irrespective of their credit balance. With this service, the recipient receives a voice message, asking them if they are happy to accept the  call. If they accept it, they select to pay for the call, which will be available at the standard rate of QAR 0.55/minute. As an additional benefit, the collect call service will enable subscribers to create lists of accepted callers and blacklist other unacceptable callers, so that they are in full control of who they receive Collect Call requests from.
