Verizon resumes talk with the unions (USA)
According to a Media report, Veizon Communication has recommenced talk with two unions regarding the new labor contracts for 65,000 workers. Communication Workers of America said that negotiatians had resumed. On the expiration of the contract, progress was being made in the negotiations. Yet the members are working under the old contract. Issues to discuss are health care coverage, wages and union representation for new jobs.
