Anacom pushes operators to offer information before sale (Romania)
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Anacom, the Romanian regulator has asked the Romanian mobile operators to inform customers beforehand about the services they will offer. As result of which, the operators have to put up posters in their shops about the information rights of mobile telephony services subscribers. Before signing of the contracts, the sales staff of the operator will have to communicate the information to the clients about the chosen tariff plan, extra-options, connection and installation, acquired equipment, included taxes, calls tariffs, credit utilisation, the minimum duration of the contract, as well as contract termination conditions and potential penalties. At their own request or handed together with their contracts, customers will also be given a document which informs them about how they can file a complaint.
