Verizon Wireless, a leading telecom operator in the US, may launch two-new high end smartphones powered by Google’s Android early next month, in a bid to capitalize on the shopping spree during the holiday season. According to reports, the mobile operator may add the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Motorola DROID 4 to its range of smartphones which currently includes the DROID RAZR and Apple’s iPhone 4S.
As per sources, the operator is currently looking at 8th December to launch the new phones, just in time for the festival shopping. The date is still tentative, while an announcement confirming the same is expected by next week. Further, reports suggest that the Verizon Wireless will have exclusive rights to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus at the time of launch, but will later be made available to other operators as well.
