www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Rogers Wireless today announced it has entered into a shared 3.5G High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) wireless network building agreement with MTS Allstream Inc., which will provide customers of Rogers and MTS Allstream with expanded 3.5G HSPA wireless network services in Manitoba. Building a high-speed wireless network together is a cost effective way to increase Rogers Wireless’ mobile coverage in the province of Manitoba by the end of 2010.
“Rogers is pleased to partner with MTS Allstream to expand next generation HSPA mobile voice and data services to our customers in Manitoba,” said Rob Bruce, President, Rogers Wireless. “Our focus will always be on delivering the best for our customers in mobile networks, products and services as we lead innovation in wireless technology.”

Furthermore, MTS Allstream will also have an access to information about Sprint’s technology, product development and planning which will assist in further developing its own wireless service offerings in Manitoba.

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: MTS Allstream, the Canadian mobile operator, has introduced the new MTS Internet To Go plan to offer residential and business subscribers. The new plan will offer unlimited access to Wi-Fi and EVDO services in Manitoba and throughout Canada. Using the MTS EVDO mobile internet network, subscribers will be able to access to the internet where mobile coverage exists in Manitoba or Canada. The service will allow access from the MTS Wi-Fi and fat port hotspots.
The plan features MTS Connection Manager PC software which connects to data networks, including DSL, Wi-Fi or mobile networks. The subscribers will also receive bundle discounts of nearly CAD 40 off when they sign up for MTS
high-speed internet and the MTS Internet To Go plan.
