Eagle Mobile’s auto-voice-SMS a hit (Albania)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: A radical increase in completed calls has been achieved by Albania’s newest cellco Eagle Mobile since the launch of auto-voice-SMS in January.

Kirusa, a vendor of voice SMS and a developer of mobile value added services made this solution available to the telco.

More than 22% of Eagle subscribers availed the facility over a period of month.

Albanian minister asks three operators to slash tariffs by October (Albania)

Alabanian Telecom minister Sokol Olldashi announces October as the deadline for the country’s three wireless network operators to slash their tariffs by 20%.
The desicion for the reduction came after the Telecommunication Regulation Agency (ERT) which lowers interconnection rates between mobile operators.
The minister also announces the opening of an international tender for the country’s fourth wireless licence in October, to compete with the established trio of Vodafone, AMC and Eagle Mobile.
