HTC sees profits jump 154 percent in Q3
Taiwanese mobile device maker High Tech Computer (HTC) saw its revenues and profits surge in the third quarter ended 30 September. Revenues were TWD 26.36 billion for the quarter, up 59.20 percent from TWD 16.6 billion in the same quarter last year. Net income after tax rose 154 percent to TWD 6.71 billion, from TWD 2.6 billion last year. Earning per shares was TWD 15.37 compared with EPS of TWD 7.46 last year.
